Agents contract through an agency or FMO, which provides carrier access, training, technology, and support. Working through an upline does not cost you anything. You are paid by the carriers, and the agency is compensated separately through overrides.

Your clients are your clients. Whenever a carrier allows it, we set you up to be paid directly by the carrier so you keep your renewals. Not every company offers direct pay, but that is always our goal when structuring your contracts, and we explain how each carrier pays before you sign anything.
